Okay ladies, let's talk periods. As much as we all aim for that 12/12 mark on menstruation for the year (unless you're trying to get pregnant with your partner), we all know it also happens to be the most uncomfortable phase in the menstrual cycle. Imagine not only suffering through dysmenorrhea but living with (even more) extra caution for leaks or stains.

And IYKYK, this has become so normal that girls already know what that one look means when you're on your period and need to get your backside checked. While it's totally normal and okay to have accidental period stains, if there are ways we can prevent them— such as using the right sanitary pads—why not? It's one less thing to think about. Another thing we can do to make red days just a lil' more fun? Wear cute sanitary napkins, LOL.

The Sofy X Kuromi Launch Brought The Kawaii Vibes To The Function

On April 4, 2025, Sofy Philippines and Cosmopolitan Philippines launched the Sofy X Kuromi collab. Kuromi—a.k.a. one of the most popular Sanrio characters—just makes so much sense as Sofy's newest spirit animal; she represents how women can be both cute and cool, even on their periods. A match made in heaven, don't you think?

To celebrate this moment, it was just right for the launch to call in the attendance of the Kawaii Crew to bring in the vibes needed for the function. And the Cosmo Vibe Tribe def got the assignment! The girls took this opportunity to mingle, create their bracelets at the Bead Station (c/o Russet Accessories), and enjoy the tasty food and bev from Baker J.

Cosmo's Chief Editor Ida Aldana and Sofy's Assistant Brand Manager Cara Wieneke also took the stage to set the tone and thank everybody for coming to hang out. Both also gave a special shoutout to the girl of the moment, Kuromi.
