Pinays have this perplexing aversion to any form of exercise that isn’t cardio. There’s this notion that if you lift weights, you’ll be "too bulky" or you’ll "look like a man." Wrong. You know what will happen though? You’ll be stronger. You’ll also probably feel more empowered. And both of those things are good. So if you’re ready to step out of your cardio bubble, and try something new, here are the three basic weight lifting moves you can start with.
