K-pop superstar Kwon Jiyong, more popularly known by his stage name G-Dragon, took to Instagram to share his thoughts amidst his recent controversy related to drugs.

On November 6, 2023, G-Dragon posted an image with the words, "Justice will prevail," as translated by The Korea Herald. "Everything will go in its right way in the end," he wrote in bold letters. Hours before his post, G-Dragon went to the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Narcotics Unit of the Regional Investigation Department for questioning.

His visit comes after submitting a letter of intent for voluntary attendance to the questioning last October 30. The procedure took about four hours.

Immediately after his thorough cooperation with the authorities, G-Dragon faced the media. According to Korean news outlets, the procedure included an "initial reagent test on him with the collection of urine and hair samples." After four hours, G-Dragon personally stated the results came out negative.

"The results came back negative. I've also requested an urgent thorough examination. I hope the investigative agency can release the accurate results as soon as possible," he proclaimed.

In a humble manner, G-Dragon expressed his hopes for justice and a fair resolution to the case. "The police are not personally after me; they are just doing their job based on someone's statement. I also think that I am here for the investigation because it's part of my job to deny or rather I'd say to probe that the allegations are unfounded."

The artist vowed to cooperate if further investigation was needed. "If they call me, I will comply," he asserted.

Lastly, the K-pop superstar made sure to comfort his fans, who have been supporting him during this period in time. "I hope you're not too worried. I hope you believe in me and await [the results]," G-Dragon shared.

Last October 25, 2023, G-Dragon was reportedly booked for investigation over drug-related charges, which he strongly refuted.
