Han So Hee clears up the speculations personally as she admits to being an item with Ryu Jun Yeol. The revelation comes a day after her agency’s statement denying the two were together. Ryu's agency also makes a statement regarding the relationship.

Han So Hee Goes Into Detail About The Relationship So Far
Korean entertainment news portal Soompi offers the translation of So Hee's blog post in English. “First, it’s true that we are in a relationship with positive feelings. However, I hope that people will not use the word 'transfer.' It’s true that we met through the exhibition, but I went there through a friend who’s a photographer with the goal of viewing the exhibition, and because I’d heard the news that we might be doing a project together, I wound up saying hello,” writes Han on Naver.
A day prior, her agency 9ato Entertainment denied that So Hee was involved with Jun Yeol. Reports of the two vacationing in Hawaii manifested, sending both fandoms into a frenzy.
“Transfer” addresses the keyword used when So Hee and Jun Yeol’s ex-girlfriend Hyeri threw shade at each other via Instagram Stories. So Hee also clarified the timeline of her relationship. She was spotted at Jun Yeol’s photo exhibit that happened very close to the announcement of Jun Yeol and Hyeri’s split.
She doubles down on the timeline, stressing how there was no “transfer” as she wrote, “Second, when we exchanged feelings for one another, it was already the beginning of 2024, and his breakup with that person was already wrapped up in early 2023. I heard that news articles about the breakup came out in November. Based on this fact, I confirmed my own feelings, and I kept going with the relationship.”
Han So Hee Over Apologies Over Actions On Instagram Stories
So Hee also expressed apologies over her social media post, aimed at Hyeri. “Third, my pathetic Instagram story. It’s true, it was pathetic and lame. I should have just stayed still, but even though I didn’t want to see rumors and claims that I started dating [Jun Yeol] before his breakup, I still saw and heard them, so I temporarily lost all reason and behaved rudely.
“I will apologize to that person [Hyeri] regarding this fact, and I sincerely apologize to you all for not reacting wisely. Because I acted based on my emotions rather than rational thinking, I acknowledge that this is completely my fault, regardless of my reasons.”
She then ends her post with a promise to do better, showing how she’s thinking of her fans.

I have no doubt that I will become a better version of myself, and thank you for supporting me. I’m sorry and apologetic, but because of that, I want to do better. I will learn how to control my greedy self, and I will greet you as a more mature version of myself.”
So Hee’s presence on her blog is very rare, she also admits. Who can blame her? Since captivating audiences in A World of Married Couple, her star only shines brighter. Last January, she broke the Internet when she played tourist in Paris and fangirled over Natalie Portman.
Ryu Jun Yeol's Agency Also Released A Statement Regarding The Relationship
C-JeS Studios, Ryu's agency, confirms the relationship as well. "Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee confirmed their positive feelings for one another and have been dating since the beginning of this year. Ryu Jun Yeol got to know Han So Hee after his breakup, and they recently confirmed their feelings [for each other]."
The agency emphasized that they are releasing this statement to put a stop to unfounded assumptions.
"Instead of an official confirmation of the sighting account at the vacation resort and the photos that were taken without permission [by the person who posted the account], we asked that people respect [Ryu Jun Yeol’s] privacy. But because we did not confirm their relationship, unnecessary misunderstandings and groundless speculation have been swirling both yesterday and today, and actor [Ryu Jun Yeol]’s rights are being severely violated, so we entreat you once again."
They then appealed to respect Ryu's privacy, and how it shall legal action against false information.
"In the future as well, in order to protect our actor’s basic rights, we will continue to not release a statement in response to each and every request to clarify and prove the details of his personal life. We ask for your understanding.
Additionally, regarding malicious slander and insulting posts about our actor, we will be taking strong action through a legal representative in response to falsehoods, defamation of character, insults, and the violation of [his] rights."
The Last 24 Hours of Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol
In the past 24 hours, fans barely caught a break over the real status of So Hee and Jun Yeol's supposed relationship. The Korea Herald reported how fellow tourists spotted them together in a luxury hotel in Hawaii.
Ryu's agency only confirmed how he was on the island, but didn't say anything else. "It is true that Ryu is staying in Hawaii for photography work. We kindly ask (the public) to respect the actor's (privacy) on his trip. In the future, (CJes Studios) will not respond to every rumor that comes from (the public) witnessing actors' private lives."
Privacy was also the same theme that So Hee's agency focused on when they initially commented on the sighting, "It is true that Han went on a vacation to Hawaii with close female friends, but regarding the rest, we kindly request understanding (in declining to respond to any dating rumors) as it falls within the range of (Han's) privacy."
Han and Hyeri's Instagram Stories, Explained
Jun Yeol's ex Hyeri took to Instagram Stories shortly after the news from Hawaii surfaced. She posted a cryptic post that said "This is funny" to a photo of palm trees.
So Hee posted on her Stories with this caption: “Explain this situation… I don’t like people who have a significant other, I don’t lead them on while saying we’re just friends, I don’t take an interest in them, I don’t develop a relationship with them, and I don’t get in the way of other people’s relationships. I like the program EXchange, but there’s nothing like that in my life.
She also added, “I also find this funny."
EXchange is the title of a Korean reality dating show. In Korean, the literal translation of "exchange" means "transfer/transit love" which alludes to cheating.
