Here’s some not-so-great news for K-drama fans: In a surprising turn of events, renowned actresses Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee have reportedly withdrawn from their roles in the highly anticipated drama, The Price of Confession.
According to South Korean news website News1, both actresses cited “disagreements with the production team” as the reason behind their unexpected departure. Even Shim Na Yeon, who was offered to direct the drama, has reportedly pulled out of the show.
The Price of Confession had generated a buzz among K-drama enthusiasts with its unique storyline and stellar cast, as it was rumored to be a GL (girls love) series.
Hye Kyo and So Hee even left fans excited with their *adorable* interactions on social media!
Production H and SLL, who were in charge of casting, commented briefly on the issue. “Because there isn’t a specific person in charge within Production H, SLL is delivering statements regarding ‘The Price of Confession’ on their behalf. We are currently trying to figure out what happened,” according to a report by Soompi.
Well, we surely hope So Hee and Hye Kyo will still have a chance to star in a drama together!
