Two weeks have already passed since all of the episodes of The Glory were released, and we're still not over THAT *glorious* ending. While the drama mainly revolved around Moon Dong Eun's meticulous revenge process towards her perpetrators and bystanders, we were also able to witness how the series tackled bullying because of differences among social statuses, introduced us more to the world of shamanism in South Korea, and many more.
With this, we made a list of some K-dramas on Netflix and Viu that you should watch after The Glory:
1. Itaewon Class (2020)

This underdog story led by Park Seo Joon and Kim Da Mi tells the story of how Park Saeroyi is set to take revenge on Jangga Group, one of the biggest food corporations in the country. Saeroyi suffered so much at the hands of the head of Jangga Group and his son. Just like in The Glory, the ending leaves us with proof that people who make others' lives miserable because of their abuse of power and money will never prevail.
2. Extracurricular (2020)

Through dramas, we are able to see how social issues also happen in South Korea - bullying, sex trafficking, gender discrimination, and many others. In Extracurricular, Oh Ji Soo (Kim Dong Hee) engages himself in an illegal job to use his pay for his tuition. This series showed us the world of juvenile delinquency, all because of the need for money.
3. Goblin (2016)

Don't you just love the Song Hye Kyo and Yeom Hye Ran duo in The Glory? While the drama gave us heavy feelings, these two surely made it a little bit lighter. Another duo we love is definitely the Goblin-Grim Reaper match in the famous Goblin series! These two always gave the viewers a laugh with their neverending bickering, almost always trying to prove who is better between them. That legendary scene where they walk in slow-mo, vegetables in their hands while wearing extremely fashionable coats is totally unforgettable!
4. Café Minamdang (2022)

Nam Han Joon is a fraudster and disguises himself as a shaman to trick customers for money. He decided to run his own fortune-telling shop, named Café Minamdang, which attracted customers more. His sales talking skills are like charm speaking and his attractive appearance is a bonus to draw customers in. Although he scams his customers, he still finds a way to get involved and actually help them.
5. Encounter (2018)
Where you can watch it: Netflix, Viu
Song Hye Kyo's prowess in acting allows her to work with anyone, and still have that perfect ~chemistry~ with her leading man. Encounter also showed how great the harmony is between Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum's relationship in the drama, in spite of the age gap. This series tells the love story of two people who found each other by serendipity in Cuba and were able to meet again in their home country, South Korea.
6. Hi Bye, Mama! (2020)

In The Glory, we were able to witness different kinds of mothers. There are selfish mothers who would betray their children for money (the kind of mothers who shouldn't be mothers at all!), and moms who would go to lengths just to protect their children and provide them with a good and happy life. In Hi Bye, Mama!, Cha Yu Ri (Kim Tae Hee) is really an admirable mom who did everything she could to keep an eye on her daughter and protect her from other ghosts. It must have also been tough for her, dying and not being able to physically be with her own daughter as she grows up.
