Here's a perfect example of that line ~*when life imitates art*~: Korean actress Lim Ji Yeon was recently a special guest on a TV program as none other than...Park Yeon Jin (minus the evil parts)!
On March 26, Ji Yeon became a weather forecaster in JTBC's Newsroom—much like her character's profession in the hit Netflix K-drama, The Glory. She reported about the current climate condition in Seoul, South Korea and even ended her report with "This has been Park Yeon Jin." The short clip was uploaded on Twitter which now has almost three million views. Daebak!

Our favorite part in the Newsroom has got to be Ji Yeon recreating Song Hye Kyo (a.k.a Moon Dong Eun)'s iconic scene where she ~fake~ congratulated the main villain in The Glory! Ji Yeon said, "Meotjida, Yeon Jin-ah! Bravo, Park Yeon Jin!" (Awesome, Yeon Jin! Bravo, Park Yeon Jin!)
Ji Yeon made her breakthrough role in The Glory as Park Yeon Jin, the cruel perpetrator of Moon Dong Eun during their high school days. In our exclusive email interview with her, the actress shared that the Netflix series was a new genre she tried and it made her speechless. It was also her first time portraying a villain—which made The Glory an even more meaningful project for her. You can read the cover story right here.
