In the newly released trailer, Park Seo Joon makes a brief appearance as a handsome dance partner for Carol Danvers (Brie Larson). Although Marvel Studios has kept his role a secret so far, executive producer Mary Livanos revealed earlier this week that he will be playing an "ally to Carol."
The Marvels is scheduled for theatrical release on November 10, 2023. Check out the new trailer for the movie below! (Park Seo Joon appears at the 1:37 mark)

ICYMI, the internet has exploded, because Park Seo Joon made his debut appearance in Marvel's teaser trailer for The Marvels (spot him around the 1:37 mark)! Seo Joon is seen dressed in fine armor (sporting LONG! WAVY! HAIR!) and signaling a group of soldiers to attack, so we're keeping our fingers crossed for some fight scenes featuring that sword. Who else is *incredibly* excited for this to drop?

ICYMI: Disney+ *officially* confirmed that our fave oppa Park Seo Joon is going to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), as he will be starring in the Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels. Of course, the film will be topbilled by Carol Danvers herself, Brie Larson. If you’re wondering what Seo Joon’s role will be, however, we’ve got *amazing* news for you!
According to entertainment insider Daniel Richtman, the K-drama actor will allegedly play Prince Yan, the “leader of a musical planet where everyone [sings] to each other instead of talking.” The planet is believed to be named Aladna, which was first introduced in the Captain Marvel Vol. 8 comics.
Instagram/bn_sj2013Now, if the movie stays true to the events in the comics, Prince Yan will also be Captain Marvel’s husband. This takes place after he asks her for help to stop his wedding. During their celebration, however, Carol would need to defeat a cruel alien named Marlo who wishes to rule the planet. When she won the battle, she became Yan’s bride.
While Marvel hasn’t confirmed if Seo Joon will indeed play Prince Yan, we’re still excited about what the actor has in store for us. We’re super proud of you, oppa!
