Reporters broke the news the following morning, June 12, and revealed that her funeral procession was scheduled for today, June 13.

The 29-year-old's real name is Park Young In, which is how she was credited in the cast listing for her debut performance in Il Tenore.


2. She was a successful musical and theater actress.
Soo Ryeon made her debut in 2018 through the musical Il Tenore, and pursued a career in the arts by participating in musicals such as Finding Kim Jong Wook, Passing Through Love, Siddhartha, and The Day We Loved.


3. She opened her own YouTube channel.
The channel is called "actor Soo Ryeon" and contains three videos, each a song cover from a different musical (The Goddess Is Watching, Seopyeonje, HOPE).
4. She worked alongside BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Jung Hae In in the 2021 K-drama series Snowdrop.

Soo Ryeon's parents decided to donate her organs to honor their late daughter. Her mother shared, "Only her brain is unconscious, and her heart is still beating. There must be someone who desperately needs [organs]. As her mother and father, we will be able to live comforted [by the thought that her heart] has gone to someone and is beating."
