2NE1 is coming back to the Philippines for a one-day concert—and fans are clamoring for a second day already. That's after most fans, a.k.a. Blackjacks, found it hard to secure a ticket for the girl group's Welcome Back Asia Tour stop in Manila .

2NE1's last show as a group in the country was back in 2014—that's a solid ten years ago. So, the determination for fans to score a ticket to their upcoming November 16, 2024 show is through the roof. Not to mention, this is also the year that the four members, CL, Minzy, Bom, and Dara first reunited ever since they halted the group's activities in 2016. It got more intense knowing that the Manila show would be held for just one day at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, which has a 15,000 seating capacity.

The show's organizer, Live Nation Philippines, has commenced three days of ticket-selling—Unionbank pre-sale for the bank's customers, Live Nation pre-sale for users signed up on their website, and general on-sale for everyone both online and offline. Today, October 11 is the third day of ticket-selling and everyone's on the edge of their seats, hoping that the show won't sell out before they get their tickets.

The hashtag #2NE1_WELCOMEBACKinManila has also been trending for days now, just days after the girl group concluded their first comeback show in Seoul. (They did three shows in a row!) Now, can we experience the same in Manila?

Fans express their sentiments over 2NE1's Manila ticket-selling

As if to ease the tension among the fans, Dara posted on X (formerly Twitter) sending good luck to Filipino Blackjacks. Her post read, "Good luck sa mga Pinoy Blackjacks. It's more fun in the Philippines." Well, that's much-needed luck! Despite the intense ticketing war, Blackjacks have posted their humorous takes about it...and we're here for it. LOL!

One Blackjack posted, "Sana hindi makasecure ng tickets yung mga taong nagsabing jejemon tayo dahil 2ne1 fan tayo nung 2009 tapos ngayon gusto rin nila magsecure." That's just so real. So real that Chie Filomeno couldn't help but react with, "Omsim! HAHAHA" (which means "exactly" in non-Filipino slang terms, icydk). The actress was also one of the thousands of fans pushing for a second day already.

While everyone's still trying to have a successful ticket purchase, there are fans posting their own "proof" of being a longtime fan of 2NE1. It's really amusing to see their journey!

Another Blackjack joked about verifying if someone is really a 2NE1 fan before they can enter the queue for the ticket site. "Dapat bago makapasok sa queue may maipakitang antique unofficial merch na binili sa labas ng school way back 2012-2014. Hinalungkat ko pa to sa baul," she said with a hint of desperation for a concert ticket.
