Hallyu fans from around the world were found jumping last December 31 when Dispatch revealed that IU and Lee Jong Suk are dating. Aside from breaking the news, the Korean news outlet shared that the couple spent a three-day Christmas vacation in Japan (which was said to be personally planned by Jong Suk!) along with IU's dongsaeng (little brother). Reports say they stayed at a luxury resort—which came with a whopping rate!
Up in the forested hills of Ise-Shima, Japan is the five-star private resort Amanemu that offers a sweeping view of the Ago Bay. It's a two-hour train ride away from the Chubu Centrair International Airport but if you're planning to go there by car, a personal chauffeur service is available from the airport.

Amanemu is surrounded by nature, which makes it even more captivating as vacation spot. Once you reach the luxury resort, you will be welcomed by its ryokan-inspired facilities as well as mineral-rich hot springs.

According to reports, the rate per night at Amanemu is 2,500,000 won or around P110,000! And because IU, her dongsaeng, and Jong Suk apparently stayed at the private resort for three nights, that's equivalent to P330,000. *cues collective gasps*

IU and Jong Suk first met in 2012 when they hosted SBS' Inkigayo. The two then became close friends for almost 10 years before they started dating. For a detailed timeline of their relationship, click here.
