When it comes to vocals in the K-pop scene, MAMAMOO is undeniably THE standard. Individually, each member—Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa—has a voice so distinct you can easily tell who's who. As a group, they have *perfect* harmony! If you need proof, go ahead and watch this Dingo Killing Voice video (that will instantly convert you into a fan).

MAMAMOO made their debut in 2014 with "Mr. Ambigous" and throughout the years, they've released chart-toppers that can go from club party beats to soulful ballads. I love how most of their songs are empowering and they're a beautiful reminder that things will get better day by day. MAMAMOO's tracks are exactly what you need when you want to feel good! With such a stellar discography, it's hard to pick which are the best (trust me, they never disappoint) but we've narrowed down the ones you'll enjoy listening to any time of the day—may it be in the morning or on a starry night. *winks*

Here are 10 MAMAMOO songs to add to your playlist:

1. "HIP"

This number has the most streams on Spotify (over 200 million as of writing) for a reason! "HIP" is a powerful anthem that's all about being brave, bold, and setting the trends, a.k.a the trademark of MAMAMOO. The quartet is out here showing everyone that they're the cut above the rest as they stitch social messages in the song's music video—like LGBTQ representation (featuring drag queens Nana Kim and Bambi) and gender stereotypes.

2. "Décalcomanie"

Ready to clap your hands? "Décalcomanie" will have you ~performing~ in the shower with its unabashed sound, starting with funky beats that lead to a raging chorus. Singing this number is like having your own concert at home! According to Solar, "Décalcomanie" is their most difficult song because of its changes in tempo and really, really high notes. But TBH, MAMAMOO's powerhouse vocals made it look so effortless to execute!

3. "Wind flower"

If there's a MAMAMOO track that feels like a warm, comforting hug, this would be it. Although it's filed under "K-Pop Songs To Listen To After A Breakup," the soft pop track can also serve as your motivation to get through life. A wind flower represents the sadness we feel after we bid goodbye and the song is just perfect while you cry your eyes out. "Wind flower" catches the emotions in full, hits right where it hurts, and serves like a balm to your soul when you finish listening to it. Repeat after me: I will get better day by day.

4. "Better Than I Thought"

Picture this: It's raining and you're inside a cozy coffee shop in Seoul enjoying that cup of latte. "Better Than I Thought" is suddenly played on the café's speakers, and it suddenly feels like you're living your life as the main character. IDK about you, but this is what I imagine while listening to this sweeping ballad! Let me know in the comments if you feel the same way.

5. "Better"

Yup, there's another MAMAMOO song with the word "Better" on the title (actually there are three—the other one is a duet by Solar and Moonbyul which features Korean rapper BIG Naughty)! This underrated gem from the reality in BLACK album has a more ~*vibe-y*~ feel to it and is ideal to listen to during an afternoon drive, right before the sun sets. We can't wait to hear "Better" live during the girls' concert in Manila (more on that later) as they interact with MooMoos (their fandom)!

6. "gogobebe"

You can really count on MAMAMOO to tell you that it's okay to not be fine. In this catchy release, the girls highlight self-love like they usually do—only making it even more colorful as seen in the music video. We also love the choreography it came with! One of the comments on YouTube reads: "Gogobebe is the type of song that makes you wanna dance even when you don't know how to dance" and we couldn't agree more. Go go, bebe!

7. "Starry Night"

MAMAMOO totally lived and breathed this concept! "Starry Night" is an addictive, Latin-inspired EDM pride that's ~different~ from the rest of their songs. Nonetheless, it showcased the girls' artistic side and how they're willing to take on new genres without forgetting their signature sound. And can we talk about the music video that was filmed in New Zealand? It's a masterpiece on its own!

8. "Egotistic"

If "Starry Night" is dreamy, "Egotistic" leans more on the fiery side (its little sister is the angsty "AYA", lol) and is under the reggaeton category. It kicks off with the strums of a Latin guitar, followed by MAMAMOO's unique voices, and ends with a strong "Nae meottaero hallae"—literally and lyrically (it translates to "I wanna do whatever I want"). Also, Moonbyul's grunt added 10 years to my life span!

9. "I love too"

Prepare your tissues when you listen to "I love too," which is MAMAMOO's heartfelt ode to their fans. It's a meaningful song for the girls especially since MooMoos created fan signs with the title on them, back when the group was just carving their path in the industry. With lyrics like "Can it get better than this? I'm looking at you and we're laughing together," the track speaks of their love for the ones who have stayed with them through the good and bad. Aww!

10. "Gleam"

We bet you'll be surprised once you discover that "Gleam" is actually a song to promote the eyewear brand bibiem! But it never felt that way the first time I heard it, and I actually thought it was one of their *stylish* b-sides for a comeback album. #JustMAMAMOOThings

Bonus: "ILLELLA"

Before they announced their MY CON world tour, MAMAMOO returned with the aptly named album MIC ON and the title track is "ILLELLA." On a personal note, it slowly grew on me before I had it on repeat. Now, the song serves as my alarm in the morning to really wake me up!

ICYMI, MAMAMOO is coming to Manila for their first-ever world tour! Watch Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa perform some of these songs during their sold-out concert on February 12 at the Araneta Coliseum. See you, MooMoos!
