Rocco Nacino just proved that he's one loving husband to his wife, Melissa Gohing—so much so that he asked South Korean actors for a series of birthday greetings!
It was during the recently held Busan International Film Festival that Rocco had the chance to not only see distinguished Korean actors, but also mingle with them. He was one happy husband as he collected birthday greetings from well-known actors Song Joong Ki (Vincenzo), Yim Siwan (Run On), and Park Seo Joon (What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?)!
On Instagram, he posted a video compilation of their short but unforgettable birthday shoutouts for Melissa. Rocco captioned, "Dahil kaarawan mo ngayon @gohingmelissa, ipapamigay kita sa mga mahal mo sa buhay [laughing emoji]."
In the video, the three actors followed Rocco as he told them Melissa's name and the occasion for the video greeting. The three happily obliged, LOL. By the end of the video, Rocco stitched a short reaction clip of Melissa while watching the birthday video. She was over the moon!
So of course, Rocco did not forget to thank them on his Instagram post. He wrote, "Thank you @bn_sj2013 (Seo Joon's IG), @yim_siwang (Siwan's IG), @hi_songjoongki (Joong Ki's IG) for your time and making one special fan smile (and almost fall) with your birthday greeting!"
(Btw, here's a fun fact: Rocco starred in the remake of Descendants of the Sun which was one of Joong Ki's representative works in K-drama history!)
Although we've seen Melissa's initial reaction, she didn't shy away from expressing her gratitude for his husband for going the extra mile to make her super happy on her birthday. She commented on Rocco's post, "This surprise is hard to beat love. You really made my K-drama heart really happy. Akala ko yung Korea Trip lang gift mo. May pa extra special surprise ka pa. I love you, Mi Amor. I know you really went out of your way just to get their greetings. Huhu! Thank you @nacinorocco." The two have been married since 2021, and are now parents to their son, Ezren Rafaello.

In case you're wondering why Rocco was at the Busan International Film Festival a.k.a. BIFF 2024, here's why. Rocco was invited together with their team for Brillante Mendoza's 2024 film, Motherland. The film premiered at the renowned film festival and participated in the Jiseok competition too.
"Big thanks to #BusanInternatonalFilmFestival for inviting team 'Motherland' to compete in the Jiseok Category. Pilipinas represent," Rocco shared on his Instagram. FYI, BIFF is like the Cannes Film Festival in South Korea. Various celebrities come together to celebrate their booming film industry.
Song Joong Ki, Yim Siwan, and Park Seo Joon are just three of the most sought-after Korean actors when it comes to films. The three have contributed high-grossing hits both inside their country and across the world. Other South Korean celebrities that Rocco met were Ji Chang Wook, Jin Young, and more.
