Rain didn't keep people from partying for a good cause, and Cosmo did not dare miss it for the world.
Bands Pupil, Imago, and Brigada showed their support for the Magalona family’s campaign against cervical cancer at the "Laban Ni Maria: Rocking Against Cervical Cancer" concert last September 23. They entertained the crowd with their popular songs, even as rain lashed against Eastwood City.
Fans didn't mind at all, as the bands gave one remarkable performance after another, including the memorable moment when Pupil's lead singer Ely Buendia and Imago's Aia De Leon made way for Francis M.’s son, Elmo Magalona, who wowed the crowd with his performance of the late rapper's "Girl Be Mine"!
Meanwhile, young actress Maxene Magalona remained true to her promise of taking on her late father's patriotic legacy. Not only is Francis M.'s daughter involved in campaigns for Ako Mismo and the Red Cross, she is also behind the "Laban Ni Maria: Rocking Against Cervical Cancer" concert.
With her mother, Pia Magalona, Maxene launched Laban Ni Maria statement shirts against cervical cancer at the concert.
