Who can apply?
The competition is open to college students aged 18-24 who are willing to travel to Metro Manila for the duration of the contest, which will run from July 12 to September 3, 2023. To participate, you must have at least 1,000 followers on Instagram or TikTok!
How to join?
Upload your best selfie on Candy’s application website until July 28, midnight. Make sure to capture your individuality and let your personality shine through! After submitting your entry, don't forget to share it on your social media platforms to encourage your friends and followers to vote for you.
The Candy team will carefully review all entries and shortlist the top 20 candidates based on the number of votes received and other qualifications set by the editorial team.
What's next after I pass the initial round?
The Top 20 candidates will be invited to attend the exclusive Go-See event, where the judging panel will conduct in-person screenings and further evaluate the applicants. Show them why you deserve to be the next cover star and charm the judging panel IRL!
What happens if I get chosen?
After the Go-See event, the judging panel will select five outstanding finalists who will participate in branded challenges and be featured on Candy’s Next Big Thing feature. Among these five talented individuals, one exceptional winner will be chosen to grace the coveted September 2023 cover!
The winners will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Candy DNA: Show your love and understanding of the Candy brand!
Votes: Your supporters' votes count! Encourage your friends, family, and followers to vote for you on the Candy website.
It-Factor: Capture the judges’ attention with your charisma, charm, and unique personality that makes you stand out from the crowd.
