"I don't dream of labor." We've all heard of this before and we've most likely never felt so understood in our entire lives-but what if labor meant working in the whimsical world of Studio Ghibli films?
This can soon be a possibility for you as Ghibli Park, located within Expo Aichi Memorial Park in Japan, is currently hiring employees to work at the theme park. And the cherry on top of this already too-good-to-be-true job opening is that according to the park's online job posting, everyone is welcome to apply.
What to know if you want to work at Ghibli Park:
Ghibli Park recently opened the Valley of Witches, which is inspired by Howl's Moving Castle. Other buildings within the area include The Okino Residence and Guchokipanya Bakery from Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Castle and Hatter's Millinery from Howl's Moving Castle, and The House of Witches from Earwing and the Witch. According to Ghibli Park, there will also be a restaurant and a family entertainment area.
Valley of Witches is expected to open to the public by March 2024, hence the reason why the theme park is hiring over a hundred people to help manage the place before it officially opens.
