Once they've saved up, celebrities can afford the luxuries in life, whether that's a new designer bag, a new car, or even a new house. So when it comes to their children, of course they'd spare no expense and consider education to be another "investment" in their futures. A good education opens doors to many possibilities, after all.
Ahead, we list down several Gen Z celebrity kids who are currently pursuing a college degree at (or have graduated from) universities around the world.
Editor's note: These are the international student tuition fees for the most current academic year (between 2023-2024) reflected on the school websites, so there may have been an increase in expenses from when they started their undergraduate studies.

1. Allison Laude
School: Claremont McKenna College
Location: California, USA

Small Laude's unica hija Allison got accepted into her dream school, Claremont McKenna College. CMC is part of the Claremont Colleges, a seven-college consortium modeled after Oxford University.
Based on their academic calendar, CMC has two semesters per year: Spring and Fall. Each semester costs $31,900.00 (P1,782,970.75), meaning a year's tuition will set you back $64,150 (P3,585,503.88). Including the housing and meal plan ($19,650, or P1,098,287.63) and additional variable costs, the average cost of attendance for 2023-2024 is $86,500 (P4,834,701.25).

2. Andres Muhlach
Location: Spain
Degree: Business and Communications
Tuition: Approximately P11.8M to P18.9M per year
The son of Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez, Andres may have officially joined showbiz this year, but left for Spain in 2020 to pursue further studies abroad. As of writing, we currently don't know the university Andres is attending, but an art degree approximately costs P590,000 up to P944,000 per semester. According to Aga, he and Charlene provide a monthly allowance for the twins to budget: "Kung anong ginastos niyo roon at naubos niya yung ano niya, kunyari may ganito siyang amount na ito, wala siyang kakainin. Hindi siya puwede tumawag sa akin."

3. Atasha Muhlach
School: Nottingham Trent University
Location: England, the United Kingdom

2024 Tuition: £17,900 (around P1.3M)
Andres' twin sister Atasha left for the UK in 2020 to pursue a business degree, and she graduated with honors in 2023. The international fee for 2024 entry as a full-time undergraduate at NTU (specifically in the Nottingham School of Art & Design and Nottingham Business School, the latter of which Atasha attended) is £17,900 (P1,265,152.98).

Dimples Romana's mini-me is currently an Aviation Management major at Southern Cross University in Australia. She moved abroad in 2022 to pursue her passions, and when she passed her Private Pilot’s License exams the actress happily gushed about it on Instagram.
"YES, ate!!! That’s my girl!!! On to CPL (Commercial Pilot License) exams next." Callie can check that box too, because she proudly shared the win on her Insta last May 2023. "We proud yeah!" Dimples wrote. "Celebrating milestone after milestone! Go get it, girl!"
At Southern Cross University, tuition fees go up to at least AUD $30,832 (P1,133,454.93).

5. Eliana
School: Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania
Location: Philadelphia, USA
Degree: Psychology
2024 Tuition: $58,620 (around P3.3M)
Kim Atienza's daughter Eliana will soon be able to claim the University of Pennsylvania (frequently shortened to UPenn) as her alma mater. It's one of the private Ivy league universities in the USA, so Kim has a lot to be proud about. As he told PEP.ph in an interview, "I get so fulfilled. As a young boy, I've always wanted to study in the States, but I couldn't afford it kasi hindi naman ganun kayaman ang parents ko. But now we can afford it and the kids are in beautiful schools in the States. Their success is my success. I feel good. Kumbaga, parang ako na yung grumaduate sa Wharton kahit na hindi ako naka-aral sa Wharton."
A year's tuition at UPenn costs $58,620 (P3,289,109.58), but if you include additional expenses like food and accommodation, you're looking at closer to $89,028 (P4,995,272.05).

6. Erika Rae Poturnak
School: Berklee College of Music
Location: Boston, Massachusetts in the USA

Ina Raymundo's panganay was accepted into "the premier institute of music and the performance arts" and started her freshman year in 2021. Erika Rae is a budding musician, and joined Cornerstone Entertainment Inc.'s roster of artists in 2020. She has posted several song covers on Instagram, including "Lapit" by Yeng Constantino.
The cost of undergraduate tuition for the school year 2023-2024 is $48,830 (P2,729,230.78). However, including on-campus room and board ($19,440, or P1,086,550.20) and other miscellaneous expenses, the total cost for one year's attendance is $76,148.94 (P4,256,154.63).

7. Frankie Pangilinan
School: The New School
Location: New York, USA
Degree: Literature
2024 Tuition: $53,716 (around P3M)
Frankie is eldest daughter of Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan and Megastar Sharon Cuneta. Currently pursuing her love of writing (what she calls her "number one passion") and anthropology in the Big Apple, "I actually have written like six novels," she revealed in an interview with PEP.ph. But why New York? "The city of Jazz...it’s a city that never sleeps, and I’m the girl who never sleeps, so I think there must be some kind of spiritual connection there."
The New School in New York offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literary Studies at the Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts. Each semester of full-time tuition for 2023-2024 costs $26,858, so a year's tuition is $53,716 (P3,008,445.15).

8. Hannah Pangilinan
School: Hillsong College

Course: Film and Television
2024 Tuition: Around P392k
Hannah Pangilinan, daughter of Anthony Pangilinan and Maricel Laxa, took up what was meant to be a two-year course in Film and Television at Hillsong College back in 2019. But after a year and a half, she returned home due to the pandemic, so Hannah wasn't able to finish the program. According to Smart Parenting, the course is said to be around P392,000.

School: Xavier University
Location: Ohio, USA
2024 Tuition: $51,164 (around P2.8M)
Jakob Poturnak is a driven student athlete. In fact, he got a college scholarship grant to play Division 1 baseball for the Xavier Musketeers at Xavier University. ICYDK, Division 1 or "D1" is the highest level of college athletics that is sanctioned by the U.S. National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). It's considered to be very competitive as it provides the most scholarships and the best opportunities for transitioning from collegiate to professional sports.
The tuition fees for an undergraduate degree at Xavier University costs $51,164 (P2,865,235.16), but if you include housing and the meal plan it adds up to $64,984 (P3,639,168.98).

10. Joaquin Rivera
School: Seneca Polytechnic
Location: Toronto, Canada
Degree: Aviation Technology
2024 Tuition: CAD $18,077 (around P750k) in domestic fees
Ariel Rivera and Gelli de Belen's son Joaquin is taking up Aviation Technology at the Seneca Polytechnic (formerly Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology or Seneca College for short). Taught at the School of Aviation, the four-year program is the only aviation technology-based degree program in Canada.
According to the college’s website, the cost per semester in domestic fees is CAD $18,077 (P750,520.83).

School: Tufts University
Location: Massachusetts, USA
Degree: Economics (with Minors in Chinese and Music)
2024 Tuition: $66,358 (around P3.7M)
Kim Atienza's eldest child Jose is part of the 2024 class of Tufts University in Boston. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a double Minor in Chinese and Music. The family has a lot to brag about, as Kim's wife Felicia was accepted to Harvard for her second(!) masteral degree last February 23, 2024.
An undergraduate student at Tufts University can expect to pay out $66,358 (P3,727,030.25) in tuition fees.

12. Julio Rivera
School: York University
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Degree: Kinesiology
2024 Tuition: CAD $35,148 (around P1.5M)
Both Joaquin and his younger brother Julio have been living in Canada since they were teenagers. Julio graduated in June 2022 with a degree in Kinesiology, the study of human and non-human body movements. According to PEP.ph, Gelli wrote a funny anecdote about the event: "My son Julio just graduated. We documented his grad with lots of photos of him, videos of him, a few photos of us while waiting, but we forgot to take a family photo. So we just took one at home in our pajamas when we finally remembered." For most programs, a Bachelor's degree for one year of full tuition costs CAD $35,148 (P1,458,055.82).
Julio and Joaquin also run an Ontario-based food business together called Lolo Ben's Biko. Julio learned (and uses) the recipe of their lolo Ben Rivera!

13. Lorin Gutierrez
School: Pepperdine University
Location: California, USA
Degree: Integrated Marketing Communications
2024 Tuition: $65,990 (around P3.7M)
Ruffa Gutierrez sent off her eldest daughter to college back in August 2021. Lorin chose Integrated Marketing Communications as her undergraduate program, and revealed in a May 2023 Tiktok livestream that "if my plans don't change, I want to pursue law school after that."
The estimated attendance fee for an international student in 2024 is $65,990 (P3,689,698.87), but that doesn't include accomodation ($23,270 or P1,301,176.96) and other costs. Pepperdine University calculated the total expenses at $96,310 (P5,385,318.12) for one academic year.

14. Magui Ford
School: University of Melbourne
Location: Australia
2024 Tuition: AUD $39,080-$53,016 (around P1.4M to P1.9M)
In March 2022, Karla Estrada dropped Magui off at the airport for her flight to the Land Down Under. In an Instagram post, part of her message to Magui read: "Soar high and Show the world how brave you are. We will always be here Praying, supporting and cheering for you. We love you ate."
The University of Melbourne's tuition fee for 2023-2024 ranges from AUD $39,080 - $44,868 (P1,434,871.39 to P1,647,385.10) for a Bachelor of Arts, to AUD $48,544 - $53,016 (P1,782,354.06 to P1,946,549.17) for a Bachelor of Science.
