So you've been seeing air fryers everywhere, and you may have even done your own research. But just like with any purchase, it's beneficial to get other people's opinions—especially if they've had experience with the product you're trying to buy. Below, people from our Cosmo Mixers share the food they love to cook in their air fryers.

  1. "Love using it on chicken wings and pork bellyTinatanggal niya yung excess fat! You can even use that fat as oil para sa ibang luto." -Lulai
  2. Gia has an air fryer from Kitchenmate: "I love using mine! I use it as much as I can to lessen the use and consumption of fat. I use it to cook chicken wings, kofta balls, cheese sticks...you name it! It doesn't dry out the meat. I guess cleaning it can be a hassle lang if there's a lot of fat rendered or some bits have hardened in the basket."

  3. "We make kamote fries and bacon, haha. Usually just quick fix snacks. We've also used it for cheese sticks and lumpia...We use it as much as possible. Less effort and less oil, and sometimes the food comes out way better that way." -Andrea
  4. "I fry everything sa air fryer! My faves are liempo, nuggets, and tofu! French fries, hash browns....a lot! I throw them in kahit frozen pa, lol." -Retty
  5. "Someone gave us an air fryer for Christmas; it is one of our favorite kitchen appliances! It's so easy to use and you can cook things frozen (it'll just take longer). I've cooked chicken, cheese sticks, fried tikoy, tater tots, french fries, fried siomai, gyoza, daing na bangus, and liempo with it! I found that if your food is a little too dry (which happened to me when I cooked the daing na bangus), rubbing a little bit of oil before air frying helps keep it moist!" -Nik

But of course, there are other people who've gone a different route:

  1. "Unpopular opinion: I had one and didn't really like it! I mean, it makes things crispy but if you cook big batches of food and have limited space, medyo hassle siya. It's bulky but you can actually only cook one to two pieces of meat (like chicken and pork chop) at a time cause you're not supposed to stack it. I use a small electric fryer called a 'Fry Daddy' instead and I love it!" -Trisha
  2. "Zero cooking skills and no intention of having one. My favorite thing in the kitchen is an air fryer, toaster, and oven in one. I think that's why I got it versus just the usual air fryer: multifunctional. Also, this has the biggest space; most air fryers hindi malaki." -Bev
