American burger joint Bored & Hungry wants you to try something familiar yet adventurous with their latest limited edition burger, just in time to celebrate Philippine Independence Day. Let me introduce you to the OG Pinoy Burger, a Filipino-style, silog-inspired sandwich that reminds you of Pinoys' breakfast culture.

How silog does it get? First up, it has Vigan longganisa smashed burger patties. Each pattie is perfectly seasoned, but its flavors aren't overpowering. (You won't get umay!) A silog won't be complete without a sunny-side-up egg with runny yolk that adds an extra layer of richness to the burger. It's a protein-packed burger that is both filling and satisfying.

Our favorite Pinoy brekkie touches are the atchara and banana ketchup aioli. The pickled green papaya and carrot relish perfectly contrast the longganisa patties in tanginess and texture. The banana ketchup aioli completes the Pinoy taste journey with every bite.

Bored & Hungry's OG Pinoy Burger is available in Stall 7, The Grid Food Market, Power Plant Mall Makati. Each burger costs P395. Grab the OG Combo Meal for P595 if you want it with fries.
