Vietnamese coffee chain Cong Caphe is opening in the Philippines

Cong Caphe was founded in Vietnam in 2007. According to their website, their first store was a small cafe located at Trie Viet Vuong Street, which happens to be a historic cafe street in Hanoi. It was founded by Linh Dung, who wanted to share her childhood memories with the coffee chain which now has nearly 100 stores locally and internationally. Linh was very adamant about maintaining the rustic and romantic feeling of nostalgia in the cafe, which has now become one of its distinguished aspects.

Whether you've already been to Hanoi or not, Cong Caphe is known for its vintage feel, which not only allows patrons to appreciate the beauty of old Vietnam but is also totally perf for the feed! You may have even already seen this from one of your mutuals before. I mean, just look at how one of their Vietnam branches looks. It feels like it is a page off an old family album in all the best ways possible.

And now, Filipino patrons don't need to hop on a flight to experience the vibes and drinks offered by Cong Caphe. Here's to hoping their flagship Gateway 2 branch embraces the beauty offered by the Vietnamese chain.

And as they say, all roads lead to Cubao. This saying now apparently also applies to Vietnam's Cong Caphe as they open their flagship branch in Gateway 2 Mall, Araneta Center, Cubao. As of writing, no final launch date has yet been revealed.

Cong Caphe's Popular Drinks

The Cong Caphe Philippines menu has not yet been revealed leaving more room for speculation. But those who have gone to Vietnam and are already familiar with their game are hoping (and manifesting) that Cong Caphe Philippines also offers the Cong Signature drinks here. This includes their Coconut Coffee, Coconut Green Rice, Coconut Mung Bean, and Coconut Cocoa. Other beverages that may also have an appearance on the Cong Caphe Philippines menu are a slew of Vietnamese coffee options.

According to Cong Caphe PH's post, Coconut Coffee is inspired by Trang Tien Ice Cream. The drink has become a champion among Cong Caphe's beverages due to coconut milk's creaminess that blends brilliantly with the bitterness of coffee, which is its secret recipe for success. At the same time, Green Rice is one of the culinary specialties for which Hanoi is known. This drink, combined with traditional creamy coconut offers the fresh flavor and bucolic ambiance of Vietnam. The two aforementioned drinks are among the most popular on the menu.
