We were all taught to place the noodles in a plastic strainer to drain excess water. Nothing seems to be wrong with this method besides the risk of spilling pasta on the sink. Well, apparently the right way to do it prevents this mishap from happening.
According to a viral TikTok video (surprise, surprise), a quicker and more efficient way would be to place the plastic strainer on top of the pot and pour the excess liquid on the sink. All the noodles are safe! Genius, right? Watch the whole hack here:
