Most of their branches are open up to 5 a.m., making them a go-to for post-drinks grub or even just midnight cravings for something extra spiced and hearty. Trust us when we say a plate of Beef Kabab or Chicken Biryani with lots of grilled tomatoes and onions hits the spot after a long night. While they may be a coffee shop with a pretty great selection of espresso-based drinks, their Japanese Premium Curry is also a must-try: You can choose from a variety of meats like Chicken Karaage, Chicken Katsu, and even Wagyu Beef Cubes, which is then blanketed in a rich, spiced sauce. For something relatively lighter, go for their signature Takoyaki with Malunggay which can even come in a 24-piece family platter. Need a quiet place to work past midnight? Nihon Cafe also has Wi-Fi and sockets.

Not all late-night spots are dimly lit, loud, and bustling. Take, for example Cafe Roo, a cozy cafe in Tomas Morato that's open until 5 a.m. on all days except Mondays (where they're open up to 3 a.m.). Folks working on their laptops until late are a common sight but this cafe is also the perfect spot for late-night chika sessions with your friends, especially over their signature Roo Pizza, pasta, or even a Cheese or Sausage Platter. While they do have coffee options, go for their Korean cafe-inspired drinks on your next late-night visit, like their Korean Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie, Sweet Potato Latte, or Blueberry Ade.
