Leche flan doughnuts are the new food trend flooding our social media feeds. How could it not when it's a combination of two of our favorite desserts, a fluffy doughnut with a silky leche flan in the middle? Knowing how much Pinoys love their ube, Desserts and Pastries by Hizon gave the leche flan doughnut a purple makeover and created the Ube de Leche Doughnut.
This upgrade doesn't just make the leche flan doughnuts into a purple dessert, but it adds actual ube flavors to it, too. Desserts and Pastries by Hizon's Ube de Leche Doughnuts are made with purple-hued ube doughnut, with an ube yema custard cream in the middle, a thick layer of smooth leche flan on top, and then drizzled with an ube cream.
The Ube de Leche Doughnuts cost P300/four pieces and P400/six pieces. Cut-off time for orders is every Tuesday at 4 p.m. and all deliveries are done by Friday, 4 p.m.
To place an order, fill out the order form found on their automated chat through their Facebook page.
