The ube obsession doesn't stop, and we're all for it! Ube breads and desserts are here and there, and one of the most popular is ube cheese pan de sal. While we do agree that it is the best tinapay that was invented, we should put a spotlight on its sister: The ube pan de coco!

You can get your ube pan de coco fix at Casa 1549, a home bakery owned by Jeanine Tsoi. Like the ube cheese pan de sal, it has a super soft ube-flavored bread that comes in that iconic purple color. The homemade coconut filling reminds you of macapuno—the coconut chunks are soft and almost jam-like. It has the right amount of sweetness so you won't get umay! You can order ube pan de coco by the dozen for P380.

Besides the ube pan de coco, Casa 1549 also offers the following:
-
Plain pan de coco - P350/dozen
