I officially joined Cosmopolitan Philippines as its lead editor in June, but my most Cosmo experience of the year actually happened a month earlier at the Cosmo Summer Party in La Union. I attended (read: partied hard) as a media guest and I had quipped that working in a bikini was the most on-brand thing I could do (iykyk). But the real Cosmo vibe came later that night—the Cosmo team and I had to look out for each other after one too many shots (and twerks, lmao).
It's how I've always known Cosmo, and that was the energy that I wanted carry into everything else when I stepped in as editor. And so for everything we did (and do), we channeled that fearless brat energy to bring forward all the fun as girl's girls.
It's that mindset that guided us throughout 2024 as we brought together the best of Cosmo's past, present, and future—keeping our faves (shoutout to Women of Influence, Cosmo Summer Party, and Cosmo Beauty Awards) while diving into bold new territory with fresh concepts. We popped lotsa (project) cherries: the Cosmo Lifestyle Awards, Cosmo Campus and Office Playground, Cosmo Crush, Cosmo Beauty Cart, and Cosmo Beauty Club.
We're continuing what we've always been good at, while making it fresher, more fun, and unapologetically Cosmo. We're proud of what we’ve pulled off so far—and even more hyped for what's next.

Women Of Influence 2024
For our celebration of International Women's Month in March, we gave major props to eight incredible Filipinas at the Women of Influence 2024 Recognition Dinner. Picture this: inspiring speeches, glam outfits, and a room filled with the country's fiercest movers and shakers.
From Iza Calzado and Dr. Aivee Teo to Kaladkaren a.k.a. Jervi Wrightson and Angely Dub, our awardees proved why they're total game-changers in their fields. It was all about celebrating their power moves while encouraging the rest of us to chase after our own big dreams. Safe to say, the night was equal parts glam, heartfelt, and super empowering.
Cosmo Lifestyle Awards
In April, we launched the first-ever Cosmo Lifestyle Awards to honor the best of everything we use in our day-to-day. We took on the coolest trends and the most innovative brands, to round up the standout winners of 2024. With categories that celebrate travel, fashion, and more, this was our way of spotlighting the products and experiences that truly elevated our lives.
Cosmo Summer Party 2024
If I haven't hyped it enough yet, the Cosmo Summer Party 2024 was absolute vibes. We took over La Union for a full day of sun, surf, and good music. There were beach games, IG-worthy setups, and a lit DJ party that kept the crowd going till midnight.
Let's just say this party didn't just bring summer—it owned it. If you missed it, don't worry, because 2025 is coming in hot!
Cosmo Campus And Office Playground 2024
We turned the daily grind into a total vibe with the first-ever Cosmo Campus and Office Playground. Think beauty pop-ups and fun games that made work and study feel just that bit more exciting for the day. It was all about helping students and professionals refresh and recharge. Packed with games and freebies, this event gave "work hard, play hard" a whole new meaning. And trust us, next year's edition will make its way all around town.

This year's Cosmo Crush features? Swoon Central. Kobe Paras wowed us in October with his basketball skills and his charm, while Sam Concepcion reminded us why he's the ultimate triple threat in November. Then, just when we thought the year couldn't get any better, Kim Myung Soo a.k.a. L swooped in December with his adorable smile and idol-worthy insights. Cosmo Beauty Cart
The Cosmo Beauty Cart rolled into 2024 in style, bringing beauty straight to the UST Paskuhan Pop-Up Village. We teamed up with The BeautyHub Pro for some product sampling and fun skincare and haircare quizzes—it was every beauty lover's dream. Attendees snagged exclusive goodies, pics with Cosmo Crushes, and vibes that were equal parts fun and fab. Don't worry, we've got more stops planned for 2025!

Cosmo Beauty Club
The Cosmo Beauty Club debuted with an intimate yet totally fun session all about blush blindness. We gathered a mix of Cosmo readers and content creators for a beauty powwow. Attendees got to try three blush products (one each from Happy Skin, Sunnies Face, and Chu Chu Beauty), share their honest thoughts, and spill tips in a cozy, interactive setup.
Plus, our editors took the conversation live on TikTok, bringing the ultimate blush breakdown to an even bigger audience. It was beauty, community, and candid chats rolled into one—and we can't wait to host more sessions like it!
