Not sure if you've noticed yet, but here at the Cosmo HQ, we *love* watching celebrity house tours and space makeovers. There's Bretman Rock's gorgeous Hawaiian mansion, Kryz Uy's home office makeover, Piolo Pascual's hilltop rest house, and more. ICYMI, another celeb who gave us a sneak peek into her home is Lorin Gutierrez. Not gonna lie, we're loving the simple and chic style of her updated room. Check it out:
As soon as you enter, the first thing you'll see is a shelf for just *some* of her sneakers. Lorin says she'll be doing a separate vlog to talk about her kicks and tbh, we're already looking forward to it!
She even has stickers of her fave rappers: Kanye West, J. Cole, Mac Miller, Drake, and ASAP Rocky.
Just across the shoe shelf is where Lorin keeps some her books, bags, and ~prized possessions~ from her fangirling phase. (Fun fact: She was a huge One Direction and 5 Seconds Of Summer fan in 2015!) Right now, she's reading Norwegian Wood by Japanese writer Haruki Murakami.
Lorin also shared that it's her first time to have a TV in her room. It's something that they've had in the family for five years and her mom Ruffa Gutierrez ended up giving it to her. She added, "A lot of the stuff in my room [are] the same from my first room tour just 'cause furniture is really expensive, and if it still works, there's no point to rebuy stuff so much." (We totally agree with you, Lorin!)
Awww! She even has a photo album of her mom's pics when she was younger.
Her favorite part of the room, however, is the corner with a bean bag. She treats it as a reading area and as a spot where her friends can sit and chill when they come over. "It's the most comfortable thing on the planet," she said.
Of course, we can't forget about her luxury items! Lorin has shelves for her designer bags and perfume collection. She shared that she uses the Bottega Veneta for every day, and her "favorite bag ever" is the Hermès croc Kelly bag, which was a gift from her lola Annabelle Rama.
As for her perfume collection, she has bottles of Jo Malone, Coco Chanel, Calvin Klein and more. Miss Dior is her everyday scent!
On her desk, she has a sunset lamp, scented candles, dried flowers, crystals, and more. So aesthetic!
According to Lorin, she wanted her room to be mainly white-themed with added pops of color to make it look lively. These plastic storage containers are definitely helping achieve that style!
Aside from the TV, another major change in her room are the curtains. Lorin explained that she added blackout curtains and sheer curtains because the look adds a ~different feel~ to the room. This chandelier also gives the space an elegant touch!
