Now that the Spotify Wrapped is out, many still found Olivia Rodrigo as their top artist for 2024 (a.k.a. me). Apart from how super relatable her songs are, that may also be because the Filipino-American singer just staged the GUTS World Tour Manila leg here—her biggest concert to date—at the Philippine Arena in October. Apart from this being Olivia's biggest show to date, it was also her first visit and concert in the country (she didn't make stop here for her Sour tour). She also sold her tickets at P1,500 for all tiers!

While we already miss our pinsan, it seems as if the Grammy-winning-artist herself couldn't forget about her time here either. Olivia already blessed us with multiple appreciation posts for her visit here, including a letter she penned especially for her Filipino fans, in the past. Now, she shared a two-part vlog detailing her experience and visit, too—and this included her itinerary. So if you're like me and you're (still) crying about not catching her on tour, you might want to cope by doing what Olivia did in Manila.

Olivia Rodrigo toured Manila in style

In the beginning of her vlog titled, GUTS World Tour (Visiting the Philippines with Amex)Olivia opened up about her Filipino lineage, something she was also always open about. "I'm half-Filipino. My dad's side of the family is Filipino. [It's] always been on my bucket list, I've always wanted to come here for as long as I can remember and it's gonna be really fun and I'm just so happy to be here." In the video, Olivia was seen riding the Bambike with her dad which, ICYDK, Bambikes are hand-made Bamboo bikes that tourists use to go on eco-tours in the "walled city" of Intramuros

Touching a bit more about her Filipino side, Olivia revealed that she was so excited to try all the Filipino food she's had growing up and excitedly quipped that her fave dessert is actually a Halo-halo. She loves it so much, she dished that she immediately had it after getting off the plane, LOL!

Olivia enjoyed a boodle fight

Olivia didn't miss the chance to experience a good ol' boodle fight. Of course, she enjoyed it while eating with her hands. Her group dined at the Sarsa Kitchen + Bar, founded by chef JP Anglo, where a specialized boodle fight was prepared by the team and waiting for them.

In fact, Chef JP shared a really cute Instagram reel about the day Olivia dined at Sarsaincluding very kind words for the singer. In the video, Olivia cutely reacted to the feast in front of her, verbalizing, "I love it. Look at all this good stuff." She even showcased a little bit of her Filipino skills, expressing, "Salamat," as Chef Jayps welcomed her home.

Ending her first vlog, she shared how special this visit was to her, saying, "Seeing the Philippines was absolutely incredible. I feel like it's a big thing that I've always wanted to do."  In the second part of her Manila vlogOlivia gushed about the positive energy she felt from her Filipino fans. Towards the end of the video, Olivia was seen to be emotional after ending the show. With teary eyes, she said, "I [was] just thinking about my family the whole time. And I just like, I don't know. It's just beautiful. And I'm so grateful."
