While you're casually scrolling through your Instagram feed or tapping through the Stories you've missed, you've probably seen several people who have turned their photos into paintings.

It's called AI Gahaku, and it was created by a developer from Japan named "Saho."

It's super easy to use. All you have to do is upload a clear photo of your face and the system ~generates~ a Renaissance painting.

You can also answer their survey to help them perfect the app. They do admit that the "output of the AI artist has been biased" and that they "hope to use a wide variety of learning data and increase the diversity of output in the future."
