Many of us are ~*obsessed*~ with coffeesome people can't even function without it! But we're not gonna lie, this daily habit can be expensive AF. 

"Coffee is well-loved by Filipinos. We have it in the morning, the afternoon, and even in the evening," Bien Lee, the Marketing Head of Pickup Coffee told Cosmopolitan Philippines. The homegrown specialty coffee chain has been gaining popularity for its handcrafted drinks that cost less than P100. "Specialty coffee normally comes at a hefty price. We normally have to spend over P100, and sometimes even over P200. This inspired us [to make] specialty coffee more accessible without compromising on quality. Our beverage price starts at P50 with nothing over P100 (inclusive of UPsizes, exclusive of UPgrades)," he explained.

Launching the brand in "an industry with players that have years of legacy" was challenging for the entrepreneur. "We are facing this by sticking to our guns and being true to what we started this business formaking specialty coffee more accessible, without compromising on quality. Today, we continue to propel the business forward, inspired by the same vision that started it all for us," Bien shared.

In less than a year, Pickup Coffee has successfully opened 50 stores across Metro Manila and Metro Cebu! 

"Launching a business in a post-pandemic situation entailed being able to make our beverages accessible to those who still prefer to order in," Bien added. "Luckily, with technology today, we were able to collaborate with the best aggregator partners (GrabFood, Foodpanda, PICKAROO), enabling us to expand our reach."
