The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck by Mark Manson
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson is a popular pick among the current edition's housemates. As the title suggests, this creative nonfiction book offers a refreshing (and sometimes harsh) take on personal growth and struggle. Because sometimes, we all need to hear the truth, no matter how tough it is, right?
Perhaps this perspective is exactly what the housemates need during their time inside the PBB house. It's a fan favorite for a reason!

48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene
It seems like this edition's housemates are really into the self-help section, and honestly, consider us influenced! This season's housemates might just be one of the most well-rounded and wellness-conscious groups we've seen—and their reading list shows exactly why. Among the first books we spotted from this season was 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene.
The literary work is a guide to everything about power, with real-world examples of influential people. It's a thought-provoking read that offers insights into the dynamics of success, influence, and personal growth.

Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed
Another work of creative nonfiction seen on the hands and on the TBR list of the celebrity housemates is Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed. Among the housemates who have already read the book in their stay inside the house so far is content creator and Sparkle star Mika Salamanca.
Tiny Beautiful Things is a collection of essays on Cheryl Strayed's advice column at The Rumpus. Among the things its readers love about the work are its heart and wisdom. It can definitely give meaningful and comforting advice for the housemates while inside the bahay ni kuya.

Strengths Finder 2.0 by Tom Rath
We will be seeing the housemates at the self-help section of bookstores because Strengths Finder 2.0 by Tom Rath is another creative nonfiction book that made it into the house. Kapuso housemate Dustin Yu has been seen cozying up with the book in hand.
The book is a guide on how one can find and develop their strengths, which can def come in handy, not only with the tasks they have, but in their journey of being true to themselves while inside the house. The work is used in personal development and leadership training, which may give us a glimpse as to how Dustin has been an effective leader inside the house so far.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
BookTok fave The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid is another work that made it into Kuya's house in this edition of the well-known reality TV show. Kapamilya housemate Brent Manalo was among those seen reading this work of fiction.
The story follows Hollywood star Evelyn Hugo's biography, which is being written, unraveling truths about her career, life, and love. It's a captivating read that can spark the housemates' imaginations, especially since confinement in such a space can take a toll on anyone.

One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus
One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus is a young adult mystery novel that former Kapamilya PBB housemate and Cosmo Women of Influence 2025 Next-Gen Tastemaker AC Bonifacio was seen reading during her stint inside the house. As a YA mystery novel, the book can also be a good source of entertainment and can definitely get the housemates hooked, especially because of the story.
The plot follows the story of five high school students who walk into detention together, but only four come out alive. Each of the four remaining students now finds themselves in the center of a murder investigation as suspects. As the truth slowly unravels, the real story of what happened during detention comes to light.

If I Could Tell You Just One Thing by Richard Reed
Adding to the slew of creative nonfiction books seen inside the PBB house (so far) in this season is If I Could Tell You Just One Thing by Richard Reed. This was also another book seen read by AC Bonifacio during her time as a housemate.
If I Could Tell You Just One Thing is a curated collection of advice and life lessons by Richard Reed from some of the most inspiring and successful individuals. As the title entails, the work's central theme is one piece of advice these people could give. I could only imagine how much pressure it is to stay inside the PBB house, even for them as celebrities who have already learned to adapt to being in front of the camera. This book probably felt like a gush of comfort for the housemates inside.
