But lo and behold, the photography gods have heard us. Self-shoot studios are finally here for us introverts, so we can avoid worrying about random stares and other people taking our photos. Our next-level IG photos are just *literally* a click away! With a remote and a monitor set up to check yourself out, you can now smile and do endless poses however way you want it!
Here are x self-shoot studios to try if you’re an introvert:
1. Atomm Studios
Address: 3, Unit 201-A, Lot 2 and, 7 Batasan-San Mateo Rd, Quezon City
Opening hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Atomm Studios pioneered the whole self-shoot studio concept here in the Philippines. Their opening quickly made rounds on TikTok, which made them one of the most well-known and loved self-shoot studios in the country. Their backdrops change every now and then, but they’re mostly known for their earthy, neutral-colored backdrops like the Atomm Classic Brown and Atomm Wheat.
The studio offers pretty reasonable packages good for two people, which starts at P650. But you can always avail of their other services for an additional fee. If you want your photos taken in this studio, you better book an appointment ASAP because slots are selling out fast!
2. UFOTO Self Portrait Studio
Address: M.V. Villar Ave, Molino IV, Daang Hari Road
Let me hear you make some noise, Southies! Located just a few minutes away from Alabang, Muntinlupa, UFOTO Self Portrait Studio is one of the most famous self-shoot studios here in the South because of their aesthetic, Korean-inspired studio. Not only will you want to take photos *inside* the studio, but also *outside* at their holding/waiting area! Every corner surely deserves a spot on your feed.
Rates here start at P500 for a solo package, but you can always book other packages if you’re bringing friends and family! Make sure to contact them here to secure a slot.
3. Backroom Studios
Address: 107a Sct. De Guia St, Diliman, Quezon City
Opening hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If you live in (or near) Makati and are looking for a self-shoot studio, Backroom Studios should be your new BFF. Backroom Studios opened their first branch in Makati in December 2021. As of writing, they now have two branches—the OG Makati studio and a newer one in QC. If you’re a fan of black-and-white type photos, definitely book a slot with them because Backroom was first known for their vintage photo strips. If you prefer colored photos with neutral backdrops, fret not because they now have that too!
For only P500, you get an exclusive 20-minute shoot with four printed copies. If you want to get *all* of your digital copies, you’ll have to pay an additional fee. Book a slot here.
4. Ilumina Studios
Address: The Edge Building, J. Aguilar Ave, CAA Road, Las Piñas City
Hey Southies, we’ve got another one for you! Ilumina Studios is very accessible as it is located in the heart of Las Piñas. The staff and owners are very welcoming and they will accommodate you and all your needs and concerns the minute you step into their studio. They sometimes also bring their fur baby, so you’re welcome to bring yours too! In fact, you can even have their photos taken in the studio. The first fur baby you bring is free of charge, but you can opt to pay an additional fee if you’re bringing more than one pet.

5. Studio SEOUL
Address: Martizano Building, 45 A. Bonifacio Ave, Marikina
Located in Marikina, Studio SEOUL is another Korean-inspired self-shoot studio perfect for both our introvert and extrovert chingus out there. If you’re not that camera-shy and want your photos taken by a professional photographer, you can also have that done here! Enjoy a *short* shoot session with their professional photographer in their vibrant studio.
