With lots of trips planned for this year, you're sure to create many new memories that you'll want to capture. After all, Filipinos are known for our love of photos and videos, and Fujifilm's instant cameras take it to a whole 'nother level as their classic films just offer a unique charm that phones cannot replicate. Thankfully, new tech allows people to have the best of both instant and digital photography. Take, for example, their most premium photo-maker to date: the new Instax Wide Evo. It'll be available soon here in the Philippines. Finally, finally, finally!

What is the Instax Wide Evo?

Fujifilm introduced the Instax Mini Evo in 2021, but this is their first wide-format hybrid camera. It functions as both an instant camera and a smartphone printer, allowing you to take instant photos with it and print images stored in your camera rolls (through the app) in an instant—and yes, all in a wide format.

Speaking of wide, this device boasts the "widest-angle lens in Instax history," at 16mm, so you'll be able to capture the entire scene with a single snap. Yes, no more cutting other people out of the frame or having them all squeeze together uncomfortably for a photo.

The Instax Wide Evo has six frame styles, 10 different lens and film effects, and even degree control, which allows you to be more creative with your photos (up to 100 ways!). You can also take your photos remotely with a tap from your phone, ideal for solo travelers or group photos. The camera can print up to 100 images on a single charge, although of course that depends on your usage. No worries; you only need two to three hours to charge it. The film will be sold separately.

A microSD card slot provides additional storage (microSD card sold separately), while the device itself can store up to 45 photos internally. The 3.5-inch LCD on the back allows you to select and edit images as well as adjust settings, offering greater control over the camera. Not only that; a new set of brushed metallic wide-frame designs is also available for the film. You can check out all the camera features through the video below:
