Most of us have probably scheduled fun summer getaways for the upcoming Holy Week holidays, but there are also those who prefer to stay in the Metro instead-whether it's to take a dip in a nearby pool or to cool down with an icy treat to beat the heat. For those who are planning to commute around the city, here's a quick rundown of the operating hours of Metro Manila train services for Holy Week 2019:
MRT-3

The MRT-3 will not have commercial operations from April 15 to 21. According to the Department of Transporation, the train system will undergo its annual general maintenance shutdown.
LRT-1

The LRT-1 will be adjusting their operating hours in observance of the Holy Week. From April 15 to 17, the first trip to Baclaran will leave at 4:30 a.m. while the last trip will leave at 10:15 p.m. On the other hand, the first trip to Roosevelt will leave at 4:30 a.m. while the last trip will leave at 10 p.m. It will not be operating from April 18 to 21.
LRT-2

The LRT-2 has not made an announcement about their operating hours for the Holy Week. In 2018, the railway was put under maintenance for the week. It operated from 4:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., westbound, and 10:30 p.m., eastbound on Holy Wednesday and had no commercial operations for the other days. This article will be updated when the information on its operating hours for 2019 is available.
