That Siargao trip for 2025 sounds like an adventure waiting to happen. But you might want to revisit your plans as Cebu Pacific is set to transfer its direct flights to Siargao and Masbate from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila to Clark International Airport starting March 30, 2025.
For those who've already secured bookings to these destinations, Cebu Pacific offers a free rebooking option up to 30 days from the original flight date. "Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date," Cebu Pacific clarifies in a press reelase.
If Clark International Airport feels inconvenient for your travel plans, you can also request a full refund without any hassle. Cebu Pacific's press release states that "passengers may contact our 24/7 Live Agent assistance channel via the Cebu Pacific website or mobile app or reach out to us through our official Facebook Page."
Alternatively, you can convert your booking into a travel fund. This virtual CEB wallet allows you to store the amount for future use, whether it's to book a new flight or pay for add-ons like baggage allowance or seat selection.
"Affected passengers will be notified with their new flight details and the option to rebook for free, convert to travel fund or refund their upcoming flight/s," Cebu Pacific said in a Facebook post. "Cebu Pacific recognizes the importance of managing airport capacity effectively, which will lead to improved passenger experience and greater public convenience," the airline explained in a statement.
Here are the flights affected:

Meanwhile, direct services from Manila to Surigao will also be discontinued. Passengers heading to Surigao will need to connect via Cebu. Cebu Pacific also details that AirSwift, which is one of their subsidiaries, "will continue to operate from NAIA Terminal 2 until March 2026."
Cebu Pacific To Move Siargao, Masbate Flights To Clark
ICYDK, this is just one of the many flights being moved out of NAIA as part of efforts to decongest Manila's main gateway. On Tuesday, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced that around 30% of flights operated by turboprop planes will be relocated to Clark or other secondary airports starting March.

Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines are among the most affected, as their subsidiaries, CebGo and PAL Express, primarily use turboprops for flights to these island destinations.
Turboprop planes are smaller aircraft that could accommodate up to 60 passengers only and are commonly used for regional destinations like Camiguin, Calbayog, Siargao, Masbate, Surigao, Busuanga, and Naga.
Airlines will have a one-year transition period to implement the changes. NAIA will be replacing turboprop planes with larger aircraft capable of carrying more passengers.
