By itself, the Land Down Under is a must-visit for many Filipinos for its breathtaking destinations and famous fauna. But little do some travelers know, having an Australian visa isn’t just limited to this country in the Oceanic region — it can also take you to other places across the globe.
Like visas to the United States, Japan, South Korea, and the Schengen states, an Australian visa is among the many travel documents that can open up locations without the worry of the painstaking process of applications.
Here are the countries you can visit with a valid Australian visa:
1. Georgia
Holders of a valid visa for Australia are exempted from visa requirements. They can enter Georgia without a visa for 90 days in any 180-day period.
2. Montenegro
Passengers with a visa valid for the period of stay issued by Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, the US, the UK, or a Schengen state can stay for a maximum of 30 days.
3. Panama
Passport holders with a multiple-entry visa with six (6) months of remaining validity for Australia, Canada, Japan, the US, South Korea, the UK, Singapore, or EU states can stay for a maximum of 30 days.
As always, check with the country’s embassy for complete information.
