For the sixth year in a row, Finland has been named the world’s happiest country. In the annual ranking released by the United Nations World Happiness Report, the Nordic country came out on top with a score of 7.804 out of a perfect score of 10. Following close behind are Denmark (7.586), Iceland (7.530), Israel (7.473), Netherlands (7.403), Sweden (7.395), Norway (7.315), Switzerland (7.240), Luxembourg (7.228), and New Zealand (7.123).

“Finland continues to occupy the top spot, for the sixth year in a row, with a score that is significantly ahead of all other countries,” according to the report.

Now the Finns want a lucky few to learn its secrets with what it's calling a “masterclass of happiness.”

Ten lucky people from all over the world will be chosen to attend the masterclass which will be held from June 12 to 15 at a luxury lakeside retreat in the country’s south. In the masterclass, “expert coaches” will teach participants courses spread over four days on nature and lifestyle, health and balance, design and “everyday,” and food and wellbeing. Travel and lodging expenses will be covered by Visit Finland.
