Heads up, jetsetters!

We know how frustrating it must be to miss out on that promo airfare. There’s a pang of jealousy you feel deep inside as soon as your friend declares that she’s flying to your favorite destination—and that she got to book hers only for one-fourth of the price you had to pay for yours. (*Sigh.* We’re familiar with that dreadful feeling.) Luckily, you won’t have to go through that anymore! We’ve discovered the ultimate trick to getting the cheapest flights for your next travel plans.

We scored this genius hack from Jaypee Licudan, the blogger behind The Rustic Nomad, who was able to book a rountrip flight from Manila to Shanghai for less than two thousand bucks! Sounds awesome, right? Now here’s what you have to do:

1. Go to Skyscanner.com.ph.

It’s a third party booking website that allows users to filter their travel options in search for the best flights available.

Tip: If you're using Google Chrome, search Skyscanner in Incognito mode. If you're repeatedly checking a certain flight, the site will show an increase in price. Always search for flights in incognito or private browsing mode to see the lowest prices.

2. Choose the city where you’ll be flying from.

Say, Manila Ninoy Aquino (MNL), for an example. But note that this trick will work wherever you are in the world.

3. On the destination, put "everywhere".

This will lead Skyscanner to automatically search ALL destinations available on your chosen date, starting with the cheapest possible fare.
