Instagram can be a major source of wanderlust—embrace it! Take a cue from these incredible travel photographers and book a trip to swim in Fiji or relax in a hot pool in Oregon. Whatever your taste, there's something for every jetsetter.
PINK SALT LAKE, RECHERCHE ARCHIPELAGO, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Lake Hillier, which resembles the pink bubble gum you used to have as a kid, is found in Western Australia and is about 1,969 feet long. Though the cause of the color is still unconfirmed, scientists believe a bacteria that lives in the salt crusts has created a pink dye and is the cause of the vibrant color.
LOVE WALL, CULVER CITY, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
It's crystal clear why Fiji was recently selected as a destination to shoot the 2017 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue: It is filled with sights that promise to stun. If you love the outdoors, Fiji is beckoning you to play a round of golf at Natadola Bay or to rent a surfboard and hit the water. Or, of course, if you're anything like this Instagrammer, you can swim with stingrays (eek!).
CORDILLERA DE LA SAL, CHILE
Head over to this impressive park located in Ontario, Canada for a soothing kayak ride through incredibly reflective lake waters. The park is filled with both deciduous forests and coniferous forests, offering an incredible expanse of plant and animal life (including black bears!), according to the official Algonquin Provincial Park website.
IGUAZU FALLS, IGUAZU RIVER, ARGENTINA
Visit Lake Resia if "walking on water" is something you haven't done just yet. A tower is the only thing that remains of a Graun, a town that was flooded more than 60 years ago after a power company decided to build a giant artificial lake. During winter, the water freezes and tourists can walk straight to the tower.
UMPQUA HOT SPRINGS, OREGON
WIERSCHEM, GERMANY
Skip Disneyland and instead book a trip to Germany to visit this real life fortress in Wierschem, Germany. The castle has guided tours in English which usually last 2.5 hours. Bonus perk: If you're a dog lover, you can bring Fido with too.
KABUPATEN GIANYAR, BALI
If you're looking for a spiritual retreat, then search no further than Pura Tirtha Empul, the Hindu temple located in Manukaya, where locals go to cleanse themselves in the sacred waters. Tourists must respect the bathing ritual by asking for permission before partaking in it themselves.
KOH PHANGAN, THAILAND
A breathtaking scenic view is essential to relaxing on vacation, and it doesn't get any better than this tropical spot located in Koh Phangan, Thailand. A stay at the Kupu Kupu Phangan Beach Villas and Spa comes with this spectacular view, along with options to take a ride on a traditional fishing boat, rent motorbikes and even organise an authentic Thai wedding ceremony.
