Here's what you need to know about Sicogon Island:
How do you travel to Sicogon Island?
Before anything else, you have to know that the island is accessible by land, sea, and air from Manila.
Julia traveled via AirSwift which offers direct flights from Manila to Sicogon Island Airport for at least P5,788 roundtrip! You'll just have to plan it really ahead of time because the airline only offers their one-and-a-half-hour direct flights to Sicogon on select dates.
Where did Julia Barretto stay in Sicogon Island?
As Julia arrived at the Sicogon Island Airport, she was escorted via a quick boat transfer to the first stop, Balay Kogon.
Balay Kogon, also called "the home by the shores," is a resort with beachfront accommodation that gives its guests a wonderful view of the different islets on the island.
This relaxing haven will not cost you millions. With at least P6,739 you can book their beachfront room for a night. They also have garden rooms that will cost you at least P5,812 per night. By the way, breakfast meals are already included in their rates!

After spending a night in Balay Kogon, Julia went to another resort in Sicogon. Huni Sicogon, also called the "modern tropical oasis," presents a more luxurious and more modern and contemporary architecture as explained by Julia.
Don't worry, because the rates for this resort won't go over your travel budget. Their room rates in Huni Sicogon range from a minimum of P7,521 per night for their deluxe room, up to a maximum of P10,900 per night for their deluxe premier room. That's already good for two guests.

At this point, you can choose from the two aforementioned resorts for your accommodations during your stay—Balay Kogon and Huni Sicogon.
What activities can you do at Sicogon Island?
For the sea-to-summit activities at the island, Julia had the chance to enjoy island hopping around Isla de Gigantes. It is a group of islands that resembles a giant lying down, and is an hour away from Sicogon Island via boat.
Tour packages for the island hopping activity start at approximately P1,000 per person, depending on the number of islands you're going to explore. Tip: You have to leave early to completely maximize the island tour!

Julia also went to the Lagoon Eco-Trail, which is a new activity at the Huni Sicogon. You can be one with nature as you walk through the forest and even do some bird watching.
Aside from that, the actress also did some hiking up to the highest peak on the island. It was a one-and-a-half-hour trek, but the view from the top was absolutely stunning!

So, what do you think about Sicogon Island? We think it's time to book that flight—go for it!
