The recent episodes of popular Netflix K-drama King The Land have moved the storyline to Bangkok, and the characters have been making the most of their international trip! It seems like the cast enjoyed their downtime too, since Lee Junho posted a carousel of photos on Instagram of himself on location.
The picturesque villa was introduced in episode 10, after Gu Won (Junho) learns that King Hotel's Cheon Sarang (YoonA) and her friends King Distribution's Kang Da Eul (Kim Ga Eun) and King Air's Oh Pyeong Hwa (Go Won Hee) are all top-performing employees of the King Group who weren't properly recognized for their efforts (no incentive trip, no promotion, etc.). Gu Won decides to arrange a proper incentive trip for the trio, and No Sang Sik (Ahn Se Ha) invites himself along for being the best assistant.

Everything you need to know about Siri Sala Private Thai Villa in Bangkok, Thailand
What is the Siri Sala Private Thai Villa?
For Thai-Filipino couple Kirati Thepsoparn and Irma Go, their fascination with old Thai houses began when they got married in 2001. In 2015, they took a canal boat trip and passed by some rundown wooden stilt houses, including one that had a big "for sale" sign attached to it. The couple said "it was love at first sight," and worked with craftsmen and designers to re-use and upcycle as much of the old wood, windows, and doors as possible during the renovation process.
Described as the first and only private waterfront villa of its kind in Bangkok, Siri Sala Private Thai Villa is a riverfront Thai style villa located in Bangkok Noi. "We hope you that you will come to Siri Sala and write your own chapter here too," the proprietors shared.

How many guests can Siri Sala Private Thai Villa accommodate?
Siri Sala is one villa comprised of three separate Thai houses called "ruen," and they all share a courtyard. Ruen Bangkok Noi and Ruen Hor are both one-bedroom houses, while Ruen Siri has four bedrooms. Each room sleeps two adults (although you can request an additional bed in Ruen Bangkok Noi), which means the entire place can accommodate a total of 12 guests.

Tucked away on the second floor, the riverfront Ruen Bangkok Noi suite sleeps two adults (an extra bed is available upon request) and its style takes inspiration from the oldest house of the original property. The bathroom features an ong and khunn (water jar and bucket) for guests looking to experience a refreshing shower the traditional way.
Ruen Hor, another riverfront suite, is also known as the "wedding suite," since it was presented to the original owner on her wedding day. By looking up, guests will be able to enjoy the hand-painted allegorical ceiling murals that depict a story of lasting love and family.

Where is Siri Sala Private Thai Villa located?
Siri Sala was built at an enviable location — it's accessible by both land and water transport, so you can be technically in the city but off the beaten path. Guests have to option of traveling by car through Charan Sanitwong Road or arriving via boat through Khlong Bangkok Noi.
Bangkok was once called the "Venice of the Orient," since the city was once interconnected by khlongs or canals, much like the famed port in Italy.

How much does it cost to stay at Siri Sala Private Thai Villa?
In the show, the group of five spend one night together in the villa before being joined by Pyeong Hwa's love interest Lee Rowoon (Kim Jae Won). Since it was a sudden decision, let's assume they didn't make him pay for his stay. So a two-night stay for five guests in July would cost 150,000 Thai Baht or P240k per night — the total (including 10% service charge and 7% VAT) is 353,100 Thai Baht, or P565,693.26.
Prices increase from 150k Thai Baht/night (January-September) to 170k Thai Baht or P272k per night (October-December), but can go all the way up to 190k Thai Baht or P305k per night during the holidays.
Guests are expected to check in at 2PM and check out by 11AM. The rates are per night for the entire villa, and children 7 years old and above are required to have their own bed.
