Subic Bay is always top of mind when it comes to impromptu beach trips. If you've already crossed out the Inflatable Island, Ocean Adventure, and Whiterock Beach Resort Hotel and Waterpark off of your Subic checklist, here's a new entry for you: You can go on a beautiful sunset cruise in Subic for only P1,950 per person.
Here's what you need to know about this budget-friendly Subic sunset cruise:
La Blanca Travel & Tours Corp. offers a special sunset cruise that takes you to the secluded bays of the cove, priced at P1,950 per head for a joiner-type activity, which means you'll be on the yacht with other people too. The cruise trips are scheduled every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; and as the name suggests, it is done during sunset, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Sunset Cruise also includes a complimentary dinner you can enjoy while on the yacht. The menu includes a macaroni salad and mini skewers for starters and an Australian rib-eye steak as the star of the spread. The steak is cooked on the boat and is served with sumptious mashed potatoes, buttered shrimp, grilled fish, buttered vegetables, mushroom soup, and fried rice. For dessert, there are macaroons, brownies, and pichi-pichi to complete the meal.
The cruise ship used for the Sunset Cruise is La Blanca's Maria Antera de Lablanca, a yacht with a maximum capacity of 25 guests. It has a second deck, which makes for perfect photos at sundown.
If you're thinking of a more intimate cruise, perhaps for a proposal or a party, you can rent the yacht for P48,750. The Exclusive Sunset Cruise rate is scheduled on the same days (Friday to Sunday), the same two-hour duration (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.), the same headcount (25 guests), and steak and seafood meals that are enough for all the guests.
La Blanca Travel & Tours Corp. is at 1031 Watercraft Venture Corporation, Subic. For more information, visit Yacht Rentals on Facebook or contact (0906) 4328890 on mobile and (0908) 5175694 on Viber.
