The Bureau of Consular Affairs (BOCA) of Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) is extending this privilege to promote the New Southbound Policy (NSP) with partner countries such as Thailand, Brunei, and the Philippines.
Who can go to Taiwan without visa?
Who is eligible for this privilege? Filipinos with valid passports, except those holding diplomatic or service passports, can take advantage of the visa exemption program, which allows for a stay of up to 14 days.
Requirements when flying to Taiwan
Filipinos who opt to visit Taiwan are still required to bring the following:
- Proof of Accommodation and booking
- Contact Information of the host/sponsor
- Sufficient Travel Funds
Aside from the visa-free entry, Taiwan also extended its Project for Simplifying Visa Regulations for High-end Group Tourists from Southeast Asian Countries until December 31, 2025.
