If it weren't for all the drama—and mysterious deaths—I'd actually want to stay in The White Lotus. A luxury resort with spas, pools, and beachfront villas? Think of all the thirst traps! And a digital detox where no one can bother me? Check me the f in. But again—the mysterious deaths, LOL.
ICYDK, the fictional hotel is the namesake of the hit HBO Original series The White Lotus and part of an also-fictional hotel chain with locations worldwide. Season 1 was set in The White Lotus Maui, Season 2 in The White Lotus Sicily, and for Season 3, they brought the drama (and dark comedy) to Thailand.

This season, the social satire unfolds at an exclusive Thai resort, following the exploits of various guests and employees over a week. Secrets, scandals, and hidden agendas simmer beneath Thailand’s breathtaking beaches and lush landscapes. And in true White Lotus fashion, it all starts with a mysterious death.

I got to rep Cosmopolitan Philippines at the series premiere in Bangkok last February, and I had two goals: 1) See Lisa in the flesh and breathe the same air, and 2) Find out where they filmed because the trailer looked insane. Happy to report: mission accomplished. *heart eyes emoji*
Lisa, who plays a hotel service staff named Mook, made a scene-stealing appearance on the green carpet at ICONSIAM, so that was one off my checklist. Then, during our interviews with the cast, they couldn't stop raving about filming on location—beaches, fresh air, monkeys (!). They shared that they actually stayed in Thailand to film for six to seven months. And they also revealed where they filmed and stayed: The Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui.

Where was The White Lotus Season 3 filmed?
The White Lotus Season 3 was primarily filmed in Koh Samui, Thailand, with the Four Seasons Resort as its main setting. ICYDK, Koh Samui is an island off the east coast of Thailand. While the cast hinted at other Thai locations, the resort remains the central backdrop for the season.

According to Warner Bros. Discovery's website, the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui was the filming location for multiple areas in The White Lotus Season 3. It was the set for most of the accommodations, including the Ratliff Family Villa, the villa of the three childhood friends (Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, and Michelle Monaghan) on a girls' trip, and problematic couple Rick (Walton Goggins) and Chelsea's (Aimee Lou Wood) room. The common areas were also filmed in the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, like the restaurants, pool, beach, and gym.

How much does it cost to stay at The White Lotus Thailand a.k.a. the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui?
We did some digging on Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui's website and found that they offer seven villas and six private residences—the main diff being that the residences come with a personal residential assistant.
A one-night stay at their most affordable option (affordable is used very loosely here, LOL), the Serenity Pool Villa, starts at 61,349 baht (around P104,000). Meanwhile, their most expensive accommodation, the Five-Bedroom Residence Villa with Pool, costs 510,510 baht (around P866,000) per night.

But ofc, we need a reference point if we actually want to stay there. In Episode 1, the five-member Ratliff family checks into a villa with three rooms: a master bedroom for dad Timothy (Jason Isaacs) and mom Victoria (Parker Posey), a shared room for brothers Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola), and a separate room for their middle daughter Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook).
The seemingly picture-perfect Ratliffs appear to be staying in the Three-Bedroom Residence Villa with Pool. To live like them at the resort for one night costs 388,368 baht (around P660,000).
Where are the other filming locations of The White Lotus Season 3?
Other filming locations of this season include the Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort (for The Singing Bird Lounge), Ta Khai at Rosewood Phuket (for the Dinner Restaurant), Anantara Mai Khao Phuket (for Wellness Sanctuary/Spa and Belinda's Room), and Anantara Bophut Koh Samui (for the lobby, security station, hotel driveway, employee parking lot, and jewelry store).

Now, the real question: Can I afford all these places? (I don't wanna think about it.)
