Yvon, the name of the blue retro Volkswagen, is parked in the garden of Subic Rainforest Retreat. This is near the beaches and waterfalls of Zambales, plus it's a three-minute drive from the Subic Bay International Airport.
The sleeping quarters of Yvon were made by putting up a bed inside the camper van. Since the space is already limited, it can only accommodate two people, making it the perfect place to stay if you're traveling as a pair or traveling solo. It's pet-friendly, too, so you can bring fur babies with you on your vacation.
For your other basic needs, there's a fully-equipped kitchen under a tree for cooking or heating food, or brewing the essential cup of coffee to start any day. Speaking of essentials, Yvon also has an outdoor grill if you want to grill liempo or barbecue, also known as everyone's cravings after a day of being on the beach all day.
The bathroom is 20 meters away from the van. It's stocked with toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel), hot water for cold nights and mornings, a hair dryer, and the most crucial of them all: a bidet.
As for the entertainment and things to do aside from beach activities, Yvon is nearby El Kabayo waterfalls, which only require a 15-minute hike from Binictican Village. For those sick of the salt water and waves, there's also a pool at Tiara Hotel for guests to swim in, for an additional minimal fee.
