Telling a woman that she can't be proud of her body and embrace her womanhood—nude or fully clothed— is one of the most common attempts to discredit feminism. That's why when Vanity Fair posted this photo of Emma Watson, the trolls came running:
The loudest (and frankly, most disappointing) criticism came from journalist Julia Hartley-Brewer:
Julia argued that Emma should have chosen a different outfit, as if there's a guideline to how a feminist *should* dress.
The Internet responded accordingly:
