Do you often admire how beautiful K-drama filming locations are and wish that you can visit them someday? You probably have your list of places to see in South Korea by now, so we’ll add another place that’s a favorite locationg among TV series—Yonsei University!
Founded in 1885, Yonsei University is one of the top three universities in South Korea. It’s not just known for its outstanding curriculum and as the alma mater of prominent figures like the award-winning Parasite director Bong Joon Ho, but also for its breathtaking facade. We’re already imagining ourselves in the Land of the Morning Calm just by looking at these photos!
One of the K-dramas that has recently filmed scenes on this campus is the webtoon-based series True Beauty, where it became Saebom High School! It's where Seojun (Hwang In Yeop) and Suho (Cha Eun Woo) would often ~*fight*~ over Ju Kyung (Moon Ga Young).
In 2019, another manhwa-adapted drama, Extraordinary You, featured Yonsei University and transformed it into Seuli High School.
Also last year, the tvN drama Romance Is A Bonus Book gave us a glimpse of the university and how spacious it is. Gosh, the school is picture-perfect!
