Typhoon Kristine has left multiple areas in the country under a state of calamity following its landfall. Reports also say that rescue efforts have been hastened to reach stranded individuals faster. Meanwhile, some affected families are also already in evacuation centers across the country.

The onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine has affected over 2.3 million Filipinos and displaced over 250, 000 people so far, based from reports. Because of this, mixed efforts from local government units, non-government organizations, and even the private sector have been pouring in. Multiple donation drives have been put in place and more have opened their doors to aid those in need.

While there are a number of calls to help going around, it's still important to verify the legitimacy of these posts first. Make sure they come from the primary source, if possible.
