The Supreme Court has finally granted annulment to Jodi Sta. Maria and her ex-husband Panfilo “Pampi” Lacson Jr. after 13 years. In an Instagram post, Jodi reflected on her 13 year-long journey of patiently waiting on the landmark decision of the court. She declared that at the end of the day, it was God who sustained her and provided her the strength to hope and to believe.
“Looking back it was His grace that sustained and carried me. He had a purpose for the waiting. And that was made clear to me by the Lord,” she wrote in a caption.
Netizens celebrated the success of the annulment, flooding her comments section with congratulatory messages. However, it was Iwa Moto’s response to her post that truly turned heads.
Iwa commented “Let’s celebrate love you amor!” Amor refers to Amor Powers, Jodi’s character in the remake of Pangako Sa ‘Yo.
Jodi replied “we should! pagbalik nyo.”
