Muntinlupa City is now under 24-hour curfew through Ordinance 2020-074.
The City Government of Muntinlupa explained on its official Facebook page, “No person shall be allowed to go out of their respective homes unless…he/she falls under exemptions provided by the ordinance.”
Individuals exempted from the 24-hour are the following:
- Frontliners and workers providing “essential service”
- Individuals buying basic commodities (limited to one person per household)
- Peace and Order personnel
- Emergency cases
Those who violate this ordinance will be subject to the following:
First offense
- Blotter with the barangay
- Picture or capturing of image
- Cancellation of benefits granted by the LGU (e.g., the Muntinlupa Scholarship Program, the Dagdag Puhunan zero-interest loan, etc.)
Last offense
- Blotter with the barangay
- Picture or capturing of image
- Withholding of relief goods and other forms of assistance until the end of the quarantine period
