What freebies can you get from PCW's Serbisyo Para Kay Juana 2025 initiative for Women's Month
Free LRT-2 Rides
This is not the first time the LRT-2 has offered free rides, and honestly, that's so slay of them. Previously, they offered free rides to students on weekdays and even to all passengers during national holidays such as Rizal Day and Independence Day. Of course, they also already provided free train rides on March 8 for Women's Day in 2020.
Here's the good news: The free train ride perk is back thanks to the Serbisyo Para Kay Juana 2025 initiative! The PCW announced on their social media pages that all female passengers of the LRT-2 will get to ride for free from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The free tickets will be available at the ticket booth.
Free haircuts and flowers
Apart from free rides on March 8, the first female passengers on select LRT-2 stations will be treated to a free haircut or have the chance to receive flowers upon arriving at the station. Only the first 30 female passengers will be getting a free haircut on March 12 at the Antipolo station and at the Cubao station on March 19 and 26. Meanwhile, the LRT-2 Antipolo station or concourse level will be giving out free roses to women on March 5.
Free issuance of civil registration documents
And if you're registering a birth or marriage this month, you also have an awesome benefit thanks to this initiative. The first 100 women who will be transacting at all Philippine Statistics Authority outlets in Metro Manila can enjoy free issuance of Civil Registration documents. This service will be happening on March 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2025. If you're interested in availing this perk, don't forget to bring a valid ID during these dates.
Free admission to female visitors to the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center
Interested in spending some time with nature? The Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC) will also be offering automatic free entry for women visiting their facility on March 8, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The best part is you don't even need to bring anything, apart from yourself!
